The Opportunity.PEC, a CONSOR company, is seeking a Drainage Engineer team lead to join our growing Water Resources Team.PEC is one of the most respected and fastest growing engineering consulting firms in the western U.S. PEC has been providing infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, and environmental consulting to public and private clients for more than 30 years.Our Transportation Hydraulics Department designs innovative drainage solutions for a variety of federal, state, and local governments in a positive team focused environment. We strongly believe growth and development is accelerated through common goals, teamwork, and necessary work life balance.A strong candidate for this role will lead the design of drainage infrastructure, manage design staff, and coordinate with multiple disciplinary teams on a variety of projects. Experience in MicroStation or AutoCAD is a plus. Expected responsibilities may includeEssential Duties & Responsibilities.

• Design roadway systems including storm drain, pond design, culvert analysis and bridge hydraulic analysis.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical reports and memorandums.
• Engineering oversite during construction.
• Develop water models, floodplain maps, and GIS models.
• Coordinate work with other engineers and professionals in various engineering disciplines.Required Credentials.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering with three to seven (3-7) years of experience.
  • A Professional Engineers License or the ability to obtain one within 1 year
  • Good technical writing, computer, communication and organization/planning skills are required.
  • Experience and familiarity with the following programs and methodologies is a plus: MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS.
