A reputable and highly innovative eco-friendly product manufacturing company in Utah is looking to bring on a Vice President, DTC. The ideal candidate will have strong cross functional leadership experience with the ability to bring teams together and an in depth understanding of what it takes to grow and expand a Direct-To-Consumer digital online business. This is a new role, which was created by growth and will be based in Sandy, UT, however options for remote working are available for consideration.The Vice President, DTC will lead and develop the digital DTC strategy and leverage the company's omni-channel network for acquiring customers to grow ecommerce sales. This role is responsible for the company's owned site functionality, UX, site merchandising, and any related experiences. The role also leads marketing strategy, social media and content strategy, collaborating with the VP of Digital Commerce on related strategies. Essential Functions of Vice President, DTC-- Develop and implement the digital strategy and roadmap for the brand to drive rapid revenue growth with a compelling end-to-end customer experience-- Create and manage a consumer-centric and data-driven DTC strategy and sustainability plan to leverage best-in-class DTC metrics with further investment in conversion-focused marketing-- Lead the digital marketing function and teams (internal and external agencies) to develop and execute go-to market campaigns across the customer lifecycle (awareness, consideration, conversion, engagement, retention)-- Develop user flows to align marketing tactics with a seamless, intuitive, and brand-building on-site experience-- Scale micro and celebrity level influencers, leveraging content marketing that generates brand awareness and directly attributable revenue-- Expand global marketplace channels to top-selling sites, furthering our reach and capitalizing on revenue streams-- Establishes brand differentiation and sustained success through continuous analyses of market trends, competitive influences, and performance of digital outlets, including demographic analyses and gap analyses-- Drive innovation through researching new revenue models, including emerging DTC ecommerce revenue models, new customer acquisition techniques and meeting evolving customer expectations-- Oversee operational functions that support digital DTC revenue growth as well as all eCommerce outlets for the company including online merchandising and functional operation of transactional technology platforms-- Own digital commerce P&L and be accountable for projections and associated results. As such, the incumbent will need to be able to diagnose headwinds and tailwinds impacting the business and derive action plans to meet/beat targets and asks to teams
Skills & Qualifications of Vice President, DTC-- 10+ years consumer digital and ecommerce sales experience, ideally with a public company-- Proven track record of delivering on business objectives and sales targets-- Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and execute on strategy-- Deep knowledge of digital and email marketing strategies, customer acquisition strategies, and link back to LTV-- Key understanding of site analytics, sales and financial data-- Ability to work well under pressure-- Experience with omni-channel marketing-- Ability to manage, lead and scale a high-performing team-- Demonstrate proficiency in P&L management, forecasting, and overall execution against sales forecasts-- Excellent understanding and demonstrated success related to strategy-- Intense passion for working in growing consumer goods business with huge upside and opportunities
