Job Description:

Multi-specialty, MD/OD, ophthalmology group in the Salt Lake City area is looking for a fellowship trained glaucoma surgeon. The new surgeon will be able to assume a current surgeons practice which includes major glaucoma cases, cataracts, and MIGS. This practice has a very collegial spirit and rarely refers anything out given the specialties covered at the practice. The physicians at the practice have primarily traditional patient relationships although some co-management occurs with in practice optometrists. The new associate will be at only one clinic site and do all cases in a surgery center nearby. In clinic the new associate will be provided 4 techs which will scribe as well. Call is covered for the practice amongst the current physicians and hospital call is split with the community and only required 5 weeks per year. Compensation will be a base salary with a production bonus. Partnership is available after only one year.
