Job Description v Scheduling patients--- appointments v Administer and document Immunizations to all age groups v Obtain EKGs, complete point of care testing and sets up spirometry v Educates patients per doctor---s instructions. v OSHA and HIPPA compliance v Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations v Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations v Interviews patients to obtain their medical history v Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files v Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks. v Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments v Properly disposes of contaminated supplies v Assists physicians during examination by handing over instruments and materials v Handles prescription requests by a return phone call, E-scripts, or fax. v Performs other duties as assigned or requested. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Company Description We are a fast-paced Family Practice Clinic that has created a culture of growth for our patients and staff. We have a high volume of patients that we treat per day and are in search for a Full-time Medical Assistant to join our growing practice/family We are open Monday-Thursday 8:30am-8pm, Friday 8:30am-5pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
