Job Description Job Description Job Title: New Grads /Entry Level Pharmacist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our fulfillment center team, managing specialty prescriptions for a high-demand chain. The role involves prescription verification, customer service, and collaboration with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of prescriptions. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for optimizing inventory management and financial metrics while ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations. Responsibilities Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy in dispensing medication. Provide customer service and support to patients. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to fulfill prescriptions efficiently. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy systems and workflows. Manage inventory and optimize financial metrics. Act as a people manager for the pharmacy staff. Answer questions related to prescriptions filled on site. Adhere to company and HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws. Essential Skills Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), BS in Pharmacy, or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution. Current Pharmacist license in Utah (must not expire within the next 6 months). Customer service experience. Ability to self-manage with minimal oversight. Experience in pharmacy, mail order pharmacy, or fulfillment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of computer operating systems such as Intercom, Promise, and Plus. Experience in a pharmacy fulfillment center or mail order site. Experience motivating team members and resolving issues. Strong time management skills, including prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines. Work Environment Work in a fulfillment center focused on filling specialty or delicate prescriptions that are not typically kept onsite in a retail pharmacy, such as infusion drugs. Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays. We have 8 open positions, and schedules can be discussed with relevant staff members.
