Responsibilities: Start Date: Immediate start upon credentialing Assignment: Cover 8 shifts per month, including call at 2 sites Schedule: Participate in 24-hour call shifts with 4 hours gratis (7a-7a) Setting: Work across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and clinic settings at a Level III trauma facility FTE: Full-time equivalent of 2.0, ensuring comprehensive coverage Duties: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including routine exams, prenatal care, deliveries, and gynecologic surgeries. Collaborate with a supportive team to manage patient care effectively and ensure positive outcomes. Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and seamless communication. Support and Environment: Support Staff: Collaborate closely with experienced Medical Assistants (MA) to deliver high-quality patient care. Reason for Coverage: Urgent need due to physician departure and transition planning for retirement. Patient Demographics: Serve a diverse patient population including adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients. Requirements: Certifications: BLS, Board Certification in OB/GYN, DEA registration, and PALS certification. State License: Active Utah medical license required.
