This is a fully remote position that will be dispatching from home. This Technician may be located in Salt Lake City, UT, Ogden, UT, or the Orem, UT area where our highest concentration of customers is located. These locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available. Day- to- day: Collaborating with the Municipal Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing service installation, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection services for all Trojan Technologies equipment. On-site work includes electrical, mechanical, chemical, and training. Our Field Service Technicians have regional travel 70% with a valid Driver's License and an average of 2 overnight stays per week at any of our company approved hotels. We have training over the first 90 days of employment which will include trips to our customer sites. The majority of training is on the job mentorship with more senior service technicians and sales team members on ride-a-longs. Our leaders are invested in our safety and quality of life! * Solve customer problems by diagnoses of component, system failures, or process issues to isolate root causes and implement corrective actions * Manage customer service expectations, happiness, and relationships for the installations in the region * Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through visits * Explore specific needs, resolving problems, and establishing proactive service strategies with customers * Submit completed service reports for all work completed in the field Are you qualified? * 3+ years' experience in a technical role required; Electrical diploma, degree, or trade certification an asset * Proven experience rectifying, electrical diagnostics, repair, and PM skills * Familiarity with using an electrical multimeter, terminating wiring in control panels, and basic knowledge of 4-20ma control devices is an asset * Solid understanding of Allen Bradley PLC platform * Proven track record of uploading/downloading, diagnosing, and fixing programs is preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to all customer organization levels When you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
