Space Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Software Engineer to join
the Systems Engineering Team (SET). This position is in Roy, UT and
supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.What
You'll Get To Do:This role will lead a small team of software
engineers who will create software engineering products and
modeling governance from Preliminary Design phase to a Critical
Design Review and beyond.The role includes leading a team
performing a fully immersed, iterative Model Based Engineering
approach to software engineering as well as performing the hands-on
work.Individual will be responsible for the Computer Systems &
Software Architecture Model (CSSAM) and Unified Modeling Language
(UML) governance and guidance to a large, distributed software team
developing the software design and capabilities for the GBSD
program.Individual will be the primary point of contact (POC) to
the US Air Force (USAF) Software Architecture Office (SAO) and
supporting organizations for the development activities for the
program's Software Architecture.This role involves collaboration
and responsibility across multiple organizations to ensure the
CSSAM Software Architecture & Design products successfully meet key
program milestone objectives, software deliverables, and the
statement of work.This role involves working with various
certification authorities (e.G. Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity,
Safety) to ensure the CSSAM Software Architecture & Design products
supportkey program certification reviews.Individual will be
responsible for validating Software Architecture & Design products
meet CSSAM model governance rules and properly flow-down from
systems engineering products to the software design and
implementationIndividual will have the opportunity of leading a
team in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple

Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an engineering or
related technical field and a minimum 9 years of relevant
experience; 7 Years with Masters; or 4 years with a PhD. or 4
additional years in lieu of a degreeHands on software engineering,
design, and development experience.Active Secret Security Clearance
(adjudicated within the past 5 years) and ability to obtain Special
Access Program.These Qualifications Would be Nice to
Have:Demonstrated experience with MBE having implemented software
architecture and design definition using such tools as MagicDraw
(Cameo Enterprise Architect), IBM Rhapsody, etc.Familiarity or
experience with MagicDraw / Cameo EAFamiliarity or experience with
IBM RhapsodyFamiliarity or expertise in DOORS requirements
management toolExperience developing ICDs and defining software
interfaces in an MBSE environmentAbility to develop software tools
& scripts to automate model validation, synchronization,
etc.Experience working in an Agile team or even leading a scrum
teamUnderstanding of the following specialty areas: nuclear surety,
cybersecurity, safetyEffective leadership skillsActive Top Secret
security clearance#GBSDSoftwareSalary Range: $112,000 USD $168,000
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
