This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division to include the Sentinel (GBSD) program.What You'll Get to Do:This position will support our program as a DevSecOps Software Engineer. In this role, the successful applicant will design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.Determine computer user needsAnalyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.Prepares operating instructionsDesigns and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.Ensures software standards are met.Participate in the standup and growth of multiple large scale software factory used by software teamIntegration of continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, and continuous deployment pipeline systemsUtilize strong communication skills to work with Software IPT, chief engineers, and development teamsMaintains smooth operation of multi-user systems, including coordination with network administrators.The selected candidate should thrive in an environment with, diverse assignments and collaborative/team settings across all levelsSupport Agile Software/Hardware teams on pipeline builds, software installation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of the Software build *Integration*As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
