Work Location: This position is Hybrid Job Description : We Are Seeking a highly experienced, Senior DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to support cloud modernization initiatives, strengthen cloud security posture, and implement DevSecOps best practices across multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on secure cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure as code, and compliance governance while working closely with development and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, security integration, and automation, and can operate independently while delivering enterprise-grade solutions. Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & Security · Design, implement, and optimize secure cloud architectures across multiple cloud platforms · Conduct identity and access reviews and implement least-privilege access models · Harden identity boundaries, authentication mechanisms, and access controls · Configure and manage cloud-native security services · Ensure encryption of data at rest and in transit · Manage encryption key lifecycle and key management services DevSecOps Pipeline Implementation · Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls · Implement automated security testing, including static, dynamic, and dependency scanning · Embed security gates into DevOps workflows and deployment pipelines · Integrate and manage secrets using enterprise-grade secrets management tools Infrastructure as Code & Automation · Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using industry-standard tools · Implement policy-as-code to enforce security and governance standards · Automate provisioning and deployment of compute, networking, storage, and security resources Containers & Platform Security · Support containerized workloads and Kubernetes-based platforms · Implement container and cluster hardening practices · Configure secure image pipelines, runtime security, and vulnerability scanning · Support zero-trust networking or service mesh implementations where applicable Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response · Configure and integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools · Build dashboards and alerts for performance, security events, and compliance tracking · Support incident response, threat analysis, and root-cause investigations Compliance & Governance · Support compliance initiatives aligned with industry and regulatory frameworks · Automate audit evidence collection where feasible · Implement governance guardrails, tagging standards, and cloud account controls Documentation & Knowledge Transfer · Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational documentation · Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training to internal teams on tools, systems, and processes Required Skills: · Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, or infrastructure engineering roles · Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, production-level cloud platform experience, including designing, securing, and operating environments · 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines · Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) · Strong experience supporting security and compliance requirements in cloud environments · Experience implementing automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) · Proficiency with container technologies and orchestration platforms · Strong scripting and automation skills · Experience working with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred Skills · Experience with multi-cloud environments · Experience with policy-as-code frameworks · Experience implementing zero-trust architectures · Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar · Experience supporting regulated or high-security environments · Relevant cloud or security certifications Available Benefits: · Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) · Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options · PTO · Holiday Pay · VTO · 401K · Charitable Match · Training reimbursement Our name says it all; K?STA I.T.
