Job Description Job Description SUMMARY We are seeking a
proactive and experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Lead to oversee
daily the maintenance of equipment and machinery on the production
floor. This hands-on leadership role will involve supervising and
mentoring a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the efficient
execution of manufacturing processes, high-quality standards, and
the proper functioning of all equipment. The Manufacturing
Maintenance Lead will also be responsible for troubleshooting,
conducting preventative maintenance, and implementing process
improvements to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a
safe and productive environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of
production workers and maintenance technicians to meet productivity
and quality targets while adhering to safety protocols. Monitor and
coordinate production activities to ensure daily goals are met,
addressing delays or issues promptly. Actively participate in
production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Oversee regular maintenance schedules, ensuring that machinery and
production equipment are well-maintained and functional.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to minimize downtime.
Train new employees on proper procedures, equipment usage, and
safety standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to existing
team members to improve skills and performance. Enforce and promote
safety guidelines, ensuring that all team members follow safety
regulations and report unsafe conditions or hazards on the
production floor. Identify opportunities to improve production
processes, equipment efficiency, and workflows to increase
productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality. Quickly identify
production or equipment issues, troubleshoot, and work with the
maintenance team to resolve problems, minimizing disruptions to
production. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities,
work orders, and employee performance. Communicate any challenges,
delays, or maintenance issues to management. Assist w/management of
the inventory of maintenance supplies to ensure availability and
avoid operational disruptions. And other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; additional
technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, mechanical) or
relevant training preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a
manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or
lead role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes,
machinery, equipment, and facility maintenance. Proven ability to
lead teams, manage workflows, and motivate employees to achieve
production and maintenance goals. Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills with the ability to address equipment
malfunctions and production issues. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across
departments and with team members at all levels. Familiarity with
safety regulations, industry standards, and maintenance best
practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
blueprints, and work orders. Ability to lift and move materials and
equipment as required (typically up to 50 pounds). Physical
Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to
stand, bend, and walk for long periods, as well as work in various
environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature variations).
