Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, Utah, is looking for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated full-time Therapist (ACMHC, CMHC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, MFT).

Copper Hills Youth Center is a psychiatric (behavioral health care) residential treatment facility serving male and female 12-17 year olds with severe psychiatric conditions and behavioral health care problems. Interested candidates would be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team treating clients who reside in the facility. Our staff have positive attitudes and enjoy working with our challenging and amazing adolescents. Therapists at Copper Hills Youth Center perform the following: Participation in the clinical team, including weekly clinical meetings, facilitation of weekly individual and family sessions Leading up to 2-3 group therapy sessions weekly, development of master treatment plans, including monthly updates, completion of psychosocial assessments and other clinical assessments, timely completion of progress notes, documenting thoroughly for utilization reviews, engagement and involvement in the therapeutic milieu and other departments.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of a Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical or counseling psychology or other recognized mental health field.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of Utah.
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to prioritize time and responsibilities, be capable of accurate and prompt documentation in the medical record, strong background in family, individual and group therapy, working knowledge of DSM V diagnosis and ability to work as a member of a multi disciplinary team.
• Must be willing and physically capable of responding to patients using the CPI system. This procedure may include but is not limited to kneeling, squatting, bending and lifting.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
