Job Summary: BBSI is looking for hard workers who want to be part of an innovative and fast-growing company. You will be working in the shipping department helping to package, coordinate, and distribute incoming and outgoing shipments. Previous experience in logistics, quality assurance, or shipping and receiving is highly desired. Title: Shipping Clerk Job ID: 64268 Pay: $15.00/hr Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, temp to perm after 320.00 contract hours. * Paid time off Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following: * Attach appropriate labels and tags to identify products and packages
* Check quality of products while picking and packing
* Pull correct quantities of product for shipping
* Scan, count, and verify orders are accurately filled
* Prepare, track, maintain, and update the status and records of outgoing shipments
* Notify supervisor of any mechanical, material, or product issues
* Enter daily activity information into logs or computer platforms
* Coordinate with delivery drivers to pick up shipments from the warehouse
* Liaise with operations and logistics to ensure shipments are completed as scheduled
* Other tasks as assigned Qualifications: * Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
* Adhere to standard operating procedures and all safety regulations
* Ability to multitask and prioritize
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational skills
* General understanding of computers
* Ability to be comfortable in an environment with loud noise and with moving mechanical parts
* Ability to stand and walk for a long duration
* Ability to handle physical workload and lift at least 45-50 lbs as needed
* Follow verbal instructions by a supervisor
* Working well with others in a team-oriented environment
* Being able to read, write, speak and understand directions in English
* Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
