Space Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join
the Ground Electrical Team. This position is located in Roy, UT and
supports the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program.What
You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will be a contributing team
member with following responsibilities: Support multiple Air Force
working groups, potentially covering different engineering
disciplines, according to weapon system priorities. Find, review,
and develop new ideas to test and maintain aging weapon system
equipment. Present rationale for needed changes and the chosen
engineering approach to internal specialty engineering boards and
Air Force customers. Document those changes according to government
and commercial standards and Air Force processes. Work and advocate
those corrections throughout the review cycle. Support Air Force in
troubleshooting and maintenance efforts on-site at missile wings
and depots. Perform analysis of systems and historical maintenance
data to provide inputs to Air Force priorities and risks. Research
systems and subsystems to complete/supplement existing
documentation. Prepare, review, and present materials for systems
and subsystems to train individuals at or below your technical

positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive
relocation assistance package.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of
Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and
Math) discipline and 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's
Degree; 0 years with PhD Demonstrated application of innovative
solutions to complex problems that arise within the testing and
sustainment of existing electromechanical equipment Experience and
knowledge in working with Nuclear Hardness and Survivability
discipline Experience writing technical papers on EMI/EMC effects
on electrical components Strong written, verbal and interpersonal
communication skills, self-motivated US Citizenship required,
ability to obtain DoD Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with government System Integrity Verification (SIV)
process and Air Force Standards. Demonstrated competence managing
software tools such as PSpice, ANSYS and driving test data
compilation and processing. Technical EMI/EMC SME on applicable
Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH& S) requirements supporting
the MMIII Weapon System. Experience writing white papers on
ESD/EMI/EMC/EMP concerns and provide recommended solution to meet
program requirements Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or
higher, ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance#GBSDelectricalSalary
Range: $87,600 USD $131,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
