Job Description$500 Bonus at 90 DaysLocate, understand and follow the Process Instructions Sheets.Ensure the safe operations of all tools and equipment related to proper start-up, operation and shut down of the particular machinery.Properly fill out and understand appropriate paperworkPerform proper quality checks in a timely mannerBasic troubleshooting of normal operations, determine deviations and take appropriate actionsBasic maintenance of machines as required (cleaning, adjustments)Lead, train, guide and direct hourly team members in a timely and fair manner.Train back- upsWeighing Final Racks of WIP ProductIssuing Product into PI Sheet in SAPMaintain accurate inventoriesMaintain a clean work areaFollow GMP's Process & ProceduresWork in cold environmentAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to follow FIFO (First in First Out)Other duties as assignedRequired SkillsExperience in operating food processing machinesMinimum computer skills Excel / SAPPractice proper GMP's and good housekeepingAbility to accurately follow written and/or verbal instructionsPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferredBasic math and computer skillsWork in a safe and effective mannerGood interpersonal and communication skills working in a team environmentMust be able to communicate effectively in English both verbal and writtenWork is generally performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper PPE, with standard office equipment available along with plant manufacturing environment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
