Job Description:
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple
western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy
under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as
J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and
training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting
aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and
tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
A Configuration Drawing Analyst / CM Specialist performs work that
is varied and complex in nature in one or more specialty areas of
configuration management or engineering dataEmployee will be
responsible to perform the following functions/duties: ---
Participate in design reviews, audits and related drawing /
drafting activities --- Apply processes / guidelines and follow
established standards --- Convert AutoCad drawings to pdf and
maintain the files in the company electronic data repository ---
Ensure technical completeness of drawings (clarity, adherence to
standards, dimensional accuracy, correct specifications, etc.) ---
Ensure as-built red-line drawings are completed after installation
--- Work with departments / individuals to resolve drawing
discrepancies --- Conduct final review and sign-off on technical
engineering drawings prior to submittal to the customer --- May
provide work direction to subordinate work unit personnel ---
Perform other job-related duties, as requiredREQUIREMENTS -
EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in a
related field, or a combination of formal training and 6 years of
directly related configuration management and drawing / drafting
experience are required for this positionIn addition, a
Configuration Drawing Analyst / Configuration Management Specialist
must possess the following qualifications: --- Proficient in
computer operations, word processing, and integrated software
applications, including electronic data management systems (EDMS) &
data repository --- Drafting experience using AutoCAD highly
desired --- Advanced knowledge of cable lists, parts lists &
interconnects needed --- Effective verbal and written communication
skills --- Able to work on your own while also being able to
function within a diverse team with the goal of resolution, a
quality product and overall customer satisfaction --- Ability to
multi-task while displaying a professional, engaging demeanor ---
Very attentive to details while still being able to move at a
productive pace --- Good planning / organizational skillsOTHER
