If this sounds like something you have been waiting for, don't hesitate apply now to start your future with Cyprus!A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CREDIT UNION CARD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVEThis person will be responsible for processing, posting, and balancing card accounts. Researches and resolves card processing disputes, processes charge backs, and adjusts members' accounts. Completes related reports and records and maintains files. Professionally assists members and vendors and notifies them as needed. Providing team members assistance with daily Card Services Department tasks. This person will be responsible for Performing the following duties:
    • Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of assigned card processing functions.
    • Assists with Dispute processes from beginning to end of the process. (Receiving; research; processing; and working as a representative for a declined dispute)
      • Working Fraud notifications when needed
      • Answering questions about card issues quickly resolving issues accurately
      • Answering a variety of card related phone calls from the branch employees, members and outside Vendors.
      • Learning the complete transaction process for different card types
      • The purpose of each Card BIN and benefits
      • Learning the Point Reward system
      • Understanding the Instant issue card process and equipment maintenance
      • Processing CRM requests such as Travel Notes; Blocking card status; Ordering cards and more
      • Working on a Third Party's system for card solutions
      • General support for Card Services Team
      • Performs posting duties. Posts and balances card processing exceptions.
      • Maintains and updates files as required.
      • Utilizes CRM program to document actions on a members' account
        • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with members, institutions, and merchants.
          • Obtains and conveys information as needed. Composes correspondence as needed.
          • Resolves (or refers) questions and requests promptly and courteously.
          • Keeps members informed of Credit Union services and policies.
          • Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation.
          • Maintains confidentiality.
            • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relations with Credit Union personnel and with management.
            • Assists branches with questions and related department issues as needed.
              • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
              • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
              • Sorts and distributes paperwork to proper staff members.
              • Completes special projects as assigned.
              • Stays well-informed of changes in card processing operations and policies.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
                • Card processing functions are efficiently, effectively, and accurately performed in accordance with established policies, standards, and program requirements.
                • Related accounts, reports, and records are complete, correct, and timely.
                • Problem accounts are researched and promptly resolved.
                • Professional business relations exist with members, institutions, and businesses. Assistance is provided as needed.
                • Good working relations with Credit Union personnel. Assistance and support are provided as required
                • Management is appropriately informed of area activities
                • Quality of work for projects completed within a timely manner
                • Quantity of work projects and the completion outcome
                • Attitude and professional communication with members', staff and co-workers'
                • Work ethics in all aspects of the position
                • Team Player
                • Attendance EducationHigh school graduate or equivalent.Required KnowledgeThorough knowledge of card processing procedures and requirements. Some knowledge of dispute process.Experience RequiredOne to two years of credit union related experience required.Skills/Abilities Solid math skills. Able to analyze accounts. Attentive to detail.
