Lenders specializing in SBA, express loans, asset-based loans,
commercial real estate loans, and commercial construction loans.
They are a direct, nationwide SBA lender offering customized loan
solutions to help America’s small businesses with working capital,
expansion, acquisition, construction, equipment financing, real
estate purchases, refinances, and more. Sales are their priority!
The Business Development Officers are proven, top industry
performers who genuinely have a passion to help customers obtain
smart financing for their small businesses. They provide quick,
personalized, and logical loan solutions with competitive terms for
borrowers across a wide range of industries. What will you do? In
this role, you will play a key role in generating SBA 7(a), 504,
and USDA loans. As a Business Development Officer (BDO), you will
be responsible for sourcing, developing, and managing relationships
with small business clients, helping them secure SBA loan solutions
tailored to their unique needs. This also includes oversight of all
aspects of Small Business Administration (SBA) customer
relationships, including business development, risk management,
operations, underwriting, and relationship management. Generate new
business through prospecting, outside calling, networking,
attending conferences, and developing new referral sources. Develop
and expand market penetration in assigned locations and markets.
Originate Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, equipment
leasing, and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) financing transactions for
small businesses nationwide. Maintain and apply a thorough
understanding of the bank's credit policy, SBA eligibility, and
necessary business practices to ensure accurate and complete loan
application submissions. Obtain customer-signed commitments after
loan approval and coordinate the funding of transactions with the
Bank’s Operations Group. Requirements for success Bachelor’s degree
or equivalent work experience. Five or more years of sales
experience in the financial services industry. 3 years of
experience in SBA loan production, sales of $20MM per year Strong
consultative sales skills and a passion for helping small
businesses succeed, with the ability to expand business
opportunities Strong verbal and written communication and
